WHO WE ARE

Patti Carr

Executive Director

I joined the NECO team in December 2020, right at the height of the pandemic. Not only did we support our existing clients and new clients with our regular programs, but we were also able to support many businesses through the recovery phase with grants and loans. I am pleased to be the Executive Director of NECO, with a great support from a diverse board of directors from Nipissing East and East Parry Sound region. I have been involved with not-for-profits and business services/advocacy for over 38 years. I will continue to enjoy assisting businesses with their financial requirements and helping entrepreneurs face their challenges and turn their dreams into reality – what a great way to spend your day!

Tammy Young

Services Director

I spent many years working for a development company which gave me great exposure to how businesses work around the world. I then moved over into the Financial Industry which allowed me to collaborate more with individuals on their own personal goals. Both of these places gave me the passion to become self-employed where I could support other entrepreneurs and see them grow and succeed with their own dreams. Through these endeavours I had the chance to work with NECO. After seeing what they do in the community and how they support entrepreneurs to achieve their goals, I knew joining this dynamic team was the right decision.

Anna Robertson

Interim Services Director
I have been happy to be part of the team at NECO since November 2020. Originally from Scotland, I moved to Canada and gained my permanent residency in 2019. I have worked in the financial industry for over fourteen years, and I enjoy working with the new entrepreneurs and established businesses looking to grow, that I have met here at NECO. As the interim Services Director, I assist applicants with their business plans, financial forecasting, loan applications and refer them to professional services as needed to ensure their prosperity and growth. I even have some clients call to chat and provide updates on their business, just so they can hear my accent.
